Floating Presences

ACT 3

Through this new series I progressed towards shapeless forms, a land where we can hardly distinguish the self from the other. What is this? What is that thing looking at us with two eyes too many, feet too large to be feet, hands too flabby to be hands, a heart way too big for such a little body, that ultimately isn’t even a body but a semblance of skin that aggregates to the eyes of the one who sees without perceiving since he doesn’t exist or simply isn’t here anymore, since he has become something else, matter from a dream, body from a reverie, floating on a canvas.
